Government rejects call for apology over Habib:
"The federal government should apologise to Maha Habib, the wife of former Guantanamo Bay detainee ,Mamdouh Habib, for failing to keep her informed about his welfare after he was arrested and detained overseas in 2001 on suspicion of being involved in terrorist activities."
